Q. I’m interested in buying a Fuji bike, but I can’t find any dealers near me or those closest to me don’t have what I want in stock. Can you tell me where I can find it, or can I buy it directly from you?

A. You can find your closest Fuji dealer by visiting our dealer locator at www.fujibikes.com/dealer. Simply enter your city or zip code, and a list of Fuji dealers in your area – complete with shop name, address, and phone number – will pop up. For International dealers, please visit http://www.fujibike.com/2016/general/worldwide

Your local Fuji dealer will be able to provide you with the most-up-to-date information on what they have in stock. All of our bikes are sold exclusively through our network of specialty bicycle retailers across the globe. We do not engage in any direct sales to consumers.

Q. I am interested in buying a Fuji bike but do not know what size is right for me. Can you tell me what size someone with my height and inseam would need?

A. While height and inseam are great starting points, there are many other factors necessary to ensure the perfect fit. The only true way to find out what size bike you need is to be fit by a shop professional. Shop staff will take all the necessary measurements to determine a rider's requirements for top-tube length, seat-tube length and saddle height, as well as other factors such as stem length and angle, crank length and saddle fore/aft positioning. These measurements vary significantly from person to person — even if the same height. We, therefore, strongly recommend that you visit your local Fuji dealer to determine the best size for you.

Q. I like a certain Fuji bike but would like it customized from the factory. Is this possible?

A. We do not offer any customization options for Fuji bicycles at this time. The bikes are produced with the colors and specifications that appear on our website and within our catalogs. You may be able to work with your dealer on parts swaps, but we cannot accommodate any color or parts swaps requests from the factory.

Q. I want a previous model year version of a bike that seems to be no longer available. Is it possible to get a bike from a non-current model year?

A. Once the model year ends so too does the production of that year’s lineup, so we will not be able to obtain the bike for you. But a private seller or a dealer with unsold previous model year product (commonly called “new-old stock”) may be able to help you.

Q. I have an older Fuji model that I cannot find any information about on your site. I have the serial number, so can you tell me the age and original factory components of this bike?

A. Your local Fuji dealer will be happy to help you select a comparable model to the one that you’ve enjoyed in the past. Please visit your local Fuji dealer, which you can find using our dealer locator at www.fujibikes.com/usa/findaretailer , or for international dealers www.fujibikes.com/2016/general/worldwide and allow the staff to assist you with finding your next great Fuji! In regard to selling or trading-in your older model, we do not offer such a program at this time.

Q. I’ve got an older Fuji model and I want to upgrade to something new. Which model is most like the one I have now? Also, can I sell or trade my old bike in to you considering that it is a classic?

A. Your local Fuji dealer will be happy to help you select a comparable model to the one that you’ve enjoyed in the past. Please visit your local Fuji dealer, which you can find using our dealer locator at www.fujibikes.com/usa/findaretailer, or for International dealers www.fujibikes.com/2016/general/worldwide and allow the staff to assist you with finding your next great Fuji! In regard to selling or trading-in your older model, we do not offer such a program at this time.

Q. I’ve got a used Fuji, and I want to know the value, so I can list it for sale. Also, can I sell or trade my old bike in to you?

A. There is no definitive way to put value on a second-hand bike, but your local Fuji dealer can give you an idea of how much you can expect to get based on the parts installed and the overall condition of the product should you decide to sell it. Some dealers even engage in used bike sales/trade-in programs themselves. In regard to selling or trading-in your older model to us, we do not offer such a program at this time.

Q. I’m looking for touch-up paint or factory decals for my bike. Can I get them from you?

A. We do not stock touch-up paint, nor do we maintain a list of specific paint color codes for our models. We suggest you try an auto supply store to see if they have any vehicle touch-up paint that will match the finish on your frame. You can also try a hobby shop or arts and crafts store that sells model kit paints. We also do not produce decal sets or badges for any of our current or discontinued models.

Q. I bought my bicycle online or received a promotional bike that arrived unassembled. Do you have instructions on how I can perform the assembly myself?

A. For your safety, we do not provide assembly instructions and require all Fuji bikes to be assembled by a professional mechanic at a bicycle shop. The importance of professional assembly cannot be overstated. It is one of only two requirements that need to be met in order for the bike to be covered under our warranty policy (the other being that you are the original owner of the bike). If you are interested in having warranty coverage on your bike, please take your bike to your local bike shop to have it assembled and adjusted by a professional bicycle mechanic.

Q. I have a Fuji bike but I never got or have misplaced my owner’s manual. Can you provide the manual for my specific Fuji model?

A. We do not produce model-specific manuals for any of our bikes. The manuals are identical for every bike we sell, regardless of whether it is a $200 kid’s bike or a $5,000 carbon road bike. You can visit www.fujibikes.com/usa/support to read, download, or print the Fuji Owner's Manual. The reason the manuals aren't model-specific is because we only produce the bicycle frame. All components are produced by different manufacturers and installed on our frame at the factory. If you are looking for specific information regarding the parts on your bike, please contact the component manufacturer directly.

Q. I need size or compatibility details on a specification to replace or upgrade parts on my bike that I cannot find on your website. Can you please tell me what parts I need to buy that will fit?

A. Your local Fuji dealer will be your best resource for these compatibility questions. Specification on every Fuji bicycle is subject to change based on availability of the product, and thus, the requested information may be different between two units of the same production model. A professional at a bicycle shop can easily assist you in identifying the sizing and compatibility specifics. Their knowledge and expertise will help you confirm that you are buying the correct replacement parts, and they will be more than happy to work with their partner distributors to source, sell, and even install exactly what you need.

Q. I am having problems with certain parts on my bike and would like to know if this qualifies as a warranty situation and if so, how do I file a warranty claim?

A. The Fuji warranty policy covers all original parts on the bicycle, excluding paint, decals, tires, tubes, chains, and other wear-and-tear items, for up to one year in the U.S. from the date of purchase. For International warranty polices, please contact the distributor in your country. Original parts and components are covered by the stated warranty of the original manufacturer. For further reference, please see our warranty policy, posted on www.fujibikes.com/usa/support, which details exactly what is covered on your Fuji product.

All warranty claims are evaluated and handled through our authorized Fuji dealers. To file a claim, please bring your Fuji bike or product to your local Fuji dealer. If you are going to file the claim at a Fuji dealer that is different from the one where you originally purchased the product, then you must bring a copy of your receipt or invoice that proves you are the original owner of the product. If you do not have an authorized Fuji dealer in your area, you can work with any local bicycle shop to assist you with the claim.

Q. I have a Fuji bike, and the frame is broken. I would like to know if this qualifies as a warranty situation and if so how do I file a warranty claim?

A. The Fuji warranty policy extends limited lifetime coverage on defects in materials and workmanship for the bicycle frame and non-suspension fork when the product is purchased from and assembled by an authorized Fuji dealer. For further reference, please see our warranty policy, posted on www.fujibikes.com/usa/support, which details exactly what is covered on your Fuji product.

Q. Who do I contact about sponsorship opportunities for myself/my child/my team/my advocacy group/the event I am organizing?

A. We receive thousands of sponsorship requests throughout the year and while we would like to fulfill them all, unfortunately, it is not financially possible. That being said, please read the information below for Fuji’s policies related to sponsorship. Please note: If you do send a proposal you may not receive a response. We only respond to the few that are accepted.

Q. If you are an individual road or mountain bike racer, triathlete or team interested in sponsorship:

We sponsor several professional athletes and teams around the world. At the grassroots or regional level, some of our authorized Fuji dealers sponsor shop teams and athletes. Q. If you work for an advocacy group or are an organizer or cyclist participating in a charitable, fundraising, or expedition ride/event:

At a corporate level, we do not sponsor individual riders or teams participating in a charity ride/event. Fuji contributes to and works directly with the select charitable organizations including Gearing Up, Cadence Cycling Foundation, Philadelphia Mountain Bike Association and the Foundation for the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sport and Nutrition, to name a few. We are not accepting proposals for any additional charities at this time. Fuji is also involved with the bike industry’s advocacy groups: Bikes Belong, IMBA, WFSGI and OIWC.

3. If you are a race or event organizer:

We currently do not sponsor any events or races.
